Kandidátsky zoznam SVHC je dostupný na stránkach ECHA. V zmysle legislatívy REACH po zverejnení v Kandidátskom zozname budú látky zhodnotené s cieľom určiť, či tieto látky budú tiež zaradené do Autorizačného zoznamu (Príloha XIV Nariadenia REACH).

Spoločnosti môžu mať legislatívne určené povinnosti vyplývajúce zo zverejnenia látok v kandidátskom zozname, pričom sa jedná o látky ako také, látky v zmesiach alebo vo výrobkoch.

Výrobcovia a dovozcovia majú 6 mesiacov od zverejnenia, aby notifikovali použitie v ECHA (do 19.6.2012, pokiaľ sú splnené obe ďalej uvedené
podmienky:

  • Látka sa nachádza vo výrobkoch v množstvách presahujúcich 1 tonu na výrobcu / dovozcu za rok;
  • Látka sa nachádza vo výrobkoch v koncentrácii 0,1% hmotnostných a viac;

Z uvedeného sa uplatňujú výnimky pokiaľ látka je už registrovaná pre dané použitie, alebo pokiaľ môže byť vylúčená expozícia.
